Your table doesn’t have to seat twelve–these guests will arrive one at a time. No need to panic.
I do love a crowd, but as my dear Man-in-Plaid is quick to remind me: “a crowd dissipates the fellowship.” Not sure why he likes that word dissipates so much, but I guarantee, he says it every time in just that way.
I still love a crowd, but for now it’s one guest at a time at your table, sharing what God did at theirs. Don’t you love guests who bring guests? No? Oh.
Well, now–yes they can.
I invited twelve writers to share a Table Story and a Recipe. You’ll be set for a month and more. Please help me welcome your new best friends:
(Oops! Not sure how she got invited!)
Pull up an extra chair – starting May 1 – and hear what God has done just because of a simple invitation. He’s all about the simple invitation. Aren’t you glad?
Come unto Me all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest. – Jesus Matthew 11:28
PS You’re invited to continue the storytelling on Facebook “Every Table Tells a Story.” Please join and share your table story at Every Table Tells a Story and each of these guests’ stories you’ll find there to read again and again.
