In the zone
I'm in the zone best when depending on God - His grace, strength, direction. I forget and depend on self all too often. The best I can do is offer my day to Him and see how He leads, sustains and reminds me He is here and in control. Maybe that's what Jesus meant by "Abide in Me and I in you."
Funny how difficulties draw us to Himself. I don't wish for them. I would rather avoid all. But, until I'm more grown up about this abiding thing, I'm grateful for anything - even those nasty challenges - that draw my heart to the One Who loves and knows me best.
"No pain, no gain" as they say. What's your "pain" today? How good of God to bring us that which brings us to Himself.
II Timothy 2:1 - "...be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus." So, my zone is in His grace - not my strength. I feel stronger already, don't you?

Well I'm not sure whether to say "thanks" to this post, or "ugh." Minor difficulties this morning = not abiding = humbled.
